Build the Round Table

Sovereign Tower Knights Guide

A Knight is more than a visible stat line. Quest fit also depends on traits, preferences, Affinity, equipment, armor condition, availability, and the possibility of an Unexpected Outcome.

Direct answer

Evaluate Knights against the whole quest, not one highlighted attribute. Inspect hidden traits, maintain armor, use equipment to solve a specific gap, and protect Affinity by respecting personal strengths and preferences.

The five visible attributes

Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic, and Wit are the first layer of quest matching. A high total does not guarantee success if the assignment asks for a different profile or if armor and hidden traits change the effective setup.

Traits, preferences, and Affinity

Investigations can reveal hidden traits and preferences that explain surprising results. Affinity reflects the relationship with the Sovereign and can be affected by how characters are treated and deployed.

Equipment, armor, and roster capacity

Use equipment to address a known requirement, repair armor before critical work, and remember that Act-based roster capacity can make recruitment timing matter. Patch notes have also fixed several armor and dismissal issues, so old advice may no longer match the current build.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which Knight is best in Sovereign Tower?

There is no universal best Knight. The useful choice depends on the quest profile, traits, equipment, armor, Affinity, availability, and timeline.

Why did a strong Knight fail?

Check the full attribute requirements, hidden traits, preferences, armor condition, equipment, and whether an Unexpected Outcome changed the result.
