Direct answer
Use Gavault as Brunhilda's route anchor. Save before decisions involving Tarcus, Matilda, and Brunhilda, then record recruitment timing, territory status, the lion-mount result, and any death state.
Background and Gavault
Meet the Knights frames Brunhilda through Gavault, her family tie to Tarcus, and a life affected by confinement in a tower. Occult, spell, and curse themes shape the route context around her.
Recruitment and timelines
Knowledge carried from an earlier attempt may change how you approach Gavault. Keep separate saves before the main investigation, before choosing whom to support, and before the final regional outcome. Patch 1.0.11 also fixed Brunhilda being assigned automatically to Brunhilda Testimony, so update before comparing older assignment behavior.
Using Brunhilda
Read her live attribute and trait panel, then compare it with the full quest profile. Background flavor alone is not enough to label a Knight as universally best for magic, strength, or public-opinion work.
Frequently asked questions

How do I prepare for Brunhilda's recruitment route?
Enter Gavault with separate saves before the investigation, the support decision, and the regional outcome; record Brunhilda, Tarcus, and Matilda after each step.
